At Poly, sustainability has been important to school administration for many years prior to the two year cap on Green Schools activities. In recent years, maintenance of sustainable projects and activities in classrooms has been imperative to teachers, faculty members, and administrators. Students are active in the classroom and outside learning about environmental issues and how they can tackle them. With opportunities from designing experiments to reading sustainability-focused literature, from school-wide celebrations focused on the environment to environmental activities at non-environmental focused assemblies, students at Poly know about the environment and want to join together to bring positive sustainable change to their communities.
